Douglas Shane
Technical service, Regulatory, Product Development, & Commercial Trials
Dr. Shane has expertise in animal health product innovation, clinical development, effectiveness studies, scientific technical marketing, digital animal technology development, and bovine production medicine.
He worked in private mixed animal practice while completing his graduate work in Production Medicine and Epidemiology. Following graduation, he was part of the Clinical Development team at Bayer Animal Health.
Due to acquisition, he joined Elanco Animal Health as part of the Next Generation Development and global Clinical Development teams. Dr. Shane is now an assistant professor supporting animal health related graduate programs at a major land grant institution.
