Meet Our Team

Dave Gocken has over 35 years experience in the animal health & nutrition industry.  A native Nebraskan, he was raised in a farming family and pursued a career in animal agriculture.

After university Dave accepted a sales position with Land O’Lakes Feed, then later Pfizer Animal Health, before joining Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica as national sales manager for the swine unit in 2005.  There he built an industry leading sales force that capitalized on an innovative product portfolio to generate more than $120 million in sales annually.  

Later he moved into general management roles including head of BI’s animal health business in South Africa and then South Korea.  In 2016, he returned to the USA to head the equine business unit and in 2019 was named head of animal health for TCM (China mainland, Taiwan & Hong Kong).  In 2022, Dave retired from BI to pursue personal interests and spend more time with family.

Dave holds a B.S. in agriculture degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Dakota.  He and his wife Linda have two adult sons, three delightful grandchildren, and make their home in Mound City, Missouri.
